I got to meet him after Not By Choice played Legends in Victoria on April 13th 2003.  I was waiting for my ride with my friend and I saw him taking picture with people, so me and Jess (and Lindy and Alex) walk up to him and I asked him for his autograph, (I'm such a little groupie!).  He told me to wait as he ran to the NBC van and came back with a pen and started signing away.  We talked about the show and how they have to come back to Victoria (He promised to come back just for us) and then he gave me and my friends a hug.  And believe me, it was one dam good hug!  Then he had to go and help load up the van so he left us.  On his way to the van he walked back past us carrying a giant 24 pack of Kokanee and clutched it close when I asked for him to share.  So pretty much, we met, we chatted, we hugged and he's just a real sweet guy.
